A few years ago, we decided to throw caution to the wind, uproot our family and move to the country.  We found an old farmhouse that sat tired, outdated, and vacant for a number of years and started the restoration.  In the proximity of a working farm, the fabled Black Forest (not the cake, or the one in Germany), and watched over by America’s mountain, Pike’s Peak, we saw its potential.

To bring that potential to life we rolled up our sleeves nearly every day, visited the hardware store nearly every week, and stopped by the emergency room at least once a quarter. From major renovations to the smaller details, we are crafting our adventure, Scrappaloosa, so you can craft yours!  Thanks for being a part our adventure and we hope you enjoy yours.
